A self-guided brewery tour in Vail lets you explore at your own pace while taking in unforgettable mountain scenery. When you book a stay at Antlers at Vail in one of our spacious Vail condos, your craft-beer adventure will be ready to begin!

Chart Your Self-Guided Vail Brewery Tour

Check seasonal hours before heading out to the Vail breweries, and consider visiting top dining spots in Vail Village along the way:

Begin in the Heart of Vail Village

  • Vail Brewing Company Taproom: Raise your first glass at the Vail Village outpost of the valley’s namesake Vail brewery, tucked along East Meadow Drive.
  • 10th Mountain Whiskey & Spirit Co.: This rustic tasting room sits along the banks of Gore Creek on Bridge Street. It serves flights of bourbon, rye, and other small-batch spirits, honoring the historic World War II ski soldiers who trained at nearby Camp Hale.

Venture Down-Valley to the Vail Breweries

  • Vail Brewing Company Brewhouse: Located west in Eagle-Vail, this veteran- and ski-bum-owned Vail brewery offers bold IPAs, mountain views, and ample indoor and outdoor seating.
  • Craftsman Brew Co.: This chef-driven brewpub revitalized the old Gore Range Brewery location and launched its beer program with Frisco’s Outer Range Brewing. Enjoy hazy IPAs, hoppy lagers, guest taps, and creative sandwiches from an open kitchen.

Pace Yourself and Plan Your Ride

At more than 8,000 feet, the mountain air takes some getting used to. Vail Health advises drinking plenty of water, rather than alcohol, while your body adjusts to the elevation, and our tips for adjusting to Vail’s altitude will help you settle in before your first pour.

When it is time to move between stops, the free town bus glides between Lionshead and Vail Village all day, while Core Transit links Vail with down-valley towns like Avon and Edwards. Fill in the gaps with a rideshare or a designated driver, and everyone can relax into the afternoon.

Raise a Glass at Our Lionshead Lodging

After an afternoon spent sampling your way from one Vail brewery to the next, return to Antlers at Vail, where our Vail condos sit on Gore Creek and face Vail Mountain. Whip up late-night bites in your full kitchen, then cozy up by the gas fireplace.

Searching for Vail hotels with pools and hot tubs? Our creekside pools and hot tubs sit just steps from your door, and a sauna and other resort-style amenities soothe tired legs before tomorrow’s day on the slopes.
