Fall 2022 Packages

Goats and Gold

A new package from Antlers at Vail hotel invites guests to revel in the golden colors of fall in the Colorado mountains, where the temps are cooler, the leaves are turning … and guests can share happy hour with real live goats!

Socialize with cute baby goats at Vail Stables GOAT Happy Hour with the new Goats and Gold package.

This fall the Antlers invites guests to revel in the hotel’s golden 50th anniversary in the glorious Colorado mountains, where the air is crisp, the leaves are turning … and happy hour is spent with real live baby goats! That’s right, GOAT Happy Hour is a Vail maaaahhst-do and the Antlers will cover transportation and happy hour tickets for guests who book a 2-night stay. Snuggle up to and feed the darling, quirky baby goats while sipping on craft beers and delicious wines at Vail Stables’ beautiful beer garden overlooking Vail Mountain, with live music from 3-5 p.m.  Social animals, goats are happiest in their herd and during interaction with people, so the Antlers suggests making the goats happy, making the family happy – and finding the inner “kid” within on this fun fall excursion that everyone will love.  The Goat Happy Hour deal is offered to guests staying at least two nights, starting from $750 for two people (excluding lodging tax).

Package is available through October 1, 2022. Subject to availability and restrictions.

Antlers will donate $10 per person to the nonprofit museum in honor of the division, which has been deployed to multiple operations since being reactivated in 1985, including Operation Desert Storm and Operation Enduring Freedom.

On select Friday evenings in Vail Village, guests are invited to the Vail Legacy Parades to watch skiers dressed in traditional 10th Mountain Division Ski Trooper uniforms perform a Torchlight Ski Down to the base of Gondola One, followed by a parade of military veterans, also in traditional uniform, marching from Gondola One down Bridge Street, across the Covered Bridge and finishing at the 10th Mountain statue. This is a unique opportunity to see the history of the 10th Mountain Division celebrated.

To continue in the spirit of the 10th, guests can raise a glass to these heroic soldiers and adventurers in the whimsically rustic 10th Mountain Whiskey & Spirits tasting room – a locals favorite in the heart of Vail Village – with a complimentary flight of locally distilled spirits such as bourbon, rye whiskey, peach-vanilla cordial and corn-mash moonshine.
