It is almost always yoga season here at the Antlers with our twice weekly complimentary yoga classes for guests, and golf season is also now upon us too. Yoga, golf and the Antlers go together like three peas in a pod.
We are once again excited to host an inclusive weekend of golf, yoga, wellness and relaxation this summer put on by the Vail Golf Club and LINC Golf & Wellness. Slated for June 18-21, the second annual Vail Women’s Golf and Yoga Wellness Retreat will help women connect, learn, network and explore Vail’s picturesque surroundings while enjoying an unique learning environment with instructors, special guests and more.
Limited to 20 participants, golfers of all levels are welcome – including beginners – as are those who practice yoga at different levels, or not at all. Retreat costs are $1,099 for those registering by May 1 and $1,199 after May 1. The extended weekend includes:
• Three-night stay at The Antlers at Vail in Lionshead
• Two 18 hole rounds at the Vail Golf Club
• Evening cocktail and dinner receptions
• PGA & LPGA instruction, plus specialized on-course coaching
• RYT certified instruction during daily yoga classes
• Golf and yoga workshops
• Lunch following golf on Friday and Saturday
• Additional activities such as guided hikes on Vail Mountain and more
Passionate about living life to its fullest, LINC Golf & Wellness founder, Kathleen Heiney, who is a LPGA teaching professional, RYT certified yoga instructor and fitness expert, says she is excited to offer the return of the retreat this summer. “Last year’s event was such a great success and it was amazing watching the women connect and improve their game,” said Heiney. “Many of them continued to play throughout the summer. That’s what the event is all about – new relationships and lasting golfing friendships.”
Joining Heiney, Vail Golf Club Director and PGA Class A certified professional, Alice Plain will bring her insights and skills to the group. “We’re thrilled to offer the retreat for a second summer,” said Plain. “Vail is a beautiful setting and our participants will leave feeling refreshed, have a new love for the game of golf and yoga and a sense of accomplishment, all the while enjoying a wonderful weekend in the mountains.”
**Additionally, on Sunday, June 21, the Vail Golf Club will offer two for one golf for retreat participant’s significant others (or fathers for Father’s Day). An additional night at The Antlers at Vail will be offered at a discount.
