In 1948, Takshi Osaki's grandfather began his training as a sushi chef and shortly after opened a sushi restaurant in Osaka, Japan. This restaurant is still a favorite of sushi fans in Osaka. Takeshi continued the family tradition by learning the fine art of sushi from his grandfather. After many years of training as a master chef, he was invited to work as a sushi chef at Nobu Matsuhisa of Aspen. Four years later, he opened Osaki, Japanese restaurant in Vail. Both tourists and locals alike enjoy Osaki in Vail. From traditional sushi and sashimi to special Japanese dishes, Osaki offers a delightful, traditional Japanese dining experience.
