Lancelot is Vail's original prime rib house and has been serving the same slow-roasted favorite since 1969. Today, Lancelot offers a delicious array of carefully prepared steaks and seafood in addition to our time honored tradition. Our wine list features selections from around the world, with an emphasis on California and Napa Valley.
Locally owned and operated, Lancelot is a small team that strives to treat their customers like family. Chef-Owner, Werner Schadl, is Austrian born and found himself at home at the Lancelot when he began working for the restaurant’s founder, (also from Austria), in 1991. In honor of his Austrian heritage, the menu still maintains traditional dishes like wiener schnitzel and homemade apple strudel.
