Here in Vail we love the winter and we pray to Mother Nature asking her to send us lots and lots of fluffy powder. But when winter begins to turn to spring, the sun starts shining, things warm up just a bit and you notice the smiles brighten and everyone is just a little happier. Spring in Vail really is a fantastic time of year. Down valley the golf courses open up so you can ski in the morning and play golf in the afternoon. On the mountain we slather on the sunscreen and put on spring ski wear, and then we hit the mountain decks for après in the sun. And, Vail’s iconic events gear back up.

The world’s biggest, pinkest ski party in the world, Pink Vail, returns to Vail March 21, 2015. This non-competitive, fun day of skiing is the largest fundraiser of the year for the local Shaw Cancer Center.
