Where is your hometown?
Gypsum, Colorado
If you had a superpower, what would it be?
I’d love the power to plant food anywhere in the world — just snap my fingers and instantly grow fruits, veggies, and grains to feed everyone. No one should ever go hungry.
Favorite vacation?
When I went to California with my sister and my husband. It felt like being a kid again — carefree, laughing nonstop, and just soaking up every moment. It reminded me how good it feels to truly disconnect and have fun.
Favorite spot in Colorado and why?
Vail in the summer! There’s something about the mix of sunshine, mountain air, and live music that just feels happy.
What is your favorite memory?
One Christmas, my dad — who always wanted unity in the family — gave me $50 and told me to go to the dollar store to buy presents for everyone. We didn’t have much, but he wanted everyone to have something to open. I stretched those $50 for six people, and even though the gifts weren’t fancy, it’s the Christmas everyone still talks about. Every time my nieces and cousins bring it up, it makes me feel warm and fuzzy inside.
What historical figure would you most like to have met?
Frida Kahlo — she turned pain into art and wasn’t afraid to show her true self, flaws and all. I admire how she found beauty in struggle and used creativity to express everything she felt. I think having one conversation with her would’ve been unforgettable.
Tell us about yourself. Is there anything else you would like to share?
I love creating — whether it’s something crafty, a cute invite, or helping guests plan their stays. I’m all about making things a little extra special and finding joy in the details.
My creative question: If you could spend a day with your younger self, what would you tell them?
I’d tell her to be patient — that everything she dreams of will come together little by little. To keep her heart kind, her faith strong, and to never stop creating beauty in her own way.
