It’s All Gravy this Thanksgiving at Antlers at Vail Hotel

Vail’s enhanced early-season snowmaking adds to home-cooked feast and comfy stay

Once again, Chef Barry Robinson will be creating his tasty and traditional Thanksgiving turkey dinners for guests to enjoy in their Antlers at Vail condominiums (dinner photo by Brent Hofacker).

Vail, Colorado – October 24, 2019 – Back by popular demand, the two-night Early Bird Gets the Bird Package at Antlers at Vail hotel returns for November 28-30, 2019, making a Vail Thanksgiving vacation easy, affordable, relaxing and fun. Forget the hours of prep time for a meal that takes only 15 minutes to eat – Antlers at Vail guests can spend the day skiing while a traditional turkey dinner is being prepared by a pro. And Vail Mountain’s world-famous trails promise an exceptional early-season experience this year, thanks to Vail’s new snowmaking enhancement project – the largest in North America.

Antlers at Vail’s Thanksgiving lodging package with the meal prepared by Chef Barry Robinson for guests to eat in the comfort of their guest suite has always been a win-win. But this year, Vail Mountain’s amazing new snowmaking capability ensures early season ski conditions will be a match for the meal. With 421 new snow guns supporting more than 500 acres of Vail Mountain snowmaking, including expanded beginner and intermediate runs and skiing out of all three base areas, “It’s going to really elevate that early season experience,” says Vail Mountain COO Beth Howard. “It means more terrain, earlier – lots of variety for all skills of skiers.”

A Vail vacation is ideal for families, from sharing the slopes at Vail Mountain – now with enhanced early-season snow – to relaxing around the fire in a comfy Antlers at Vail guest suite (ski photo by Jack Affleck).

Meanwhile, while Antlers guests are playing on and off the slopes, Chef Barry Robinson will be preparing a delicious Thanksgiving feast complete with roasted turkey, garlic mashed potatoes, caramelized butternut squash, mixed green salad, green beans with toasted almonds, savory stuffing and tart cranberry sauce, followed by classic pumpkin pie and vanilla bean ice cream. Chef Barry will deliver the homemade feast to guest condos on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 28, in ovenproof, recyclable containers for heating and serving at their convenience.

The family-friendly, pet-friendly, convenient and comfortable, amenities-packed lodging at Antlers takes the hassle out of the holidays so that guests can really savor those hard-earned days off. Beyond the slopes, guests can enjoy ice skating and shopping in Lionshead, swimming in Antlers outdoor heated pool or watching football in their roomy condo living room. And with zero resort fees, a notoriously long list of complimentary amenities and a philosophy based on “the answer is yes, now what’s the question?” the Antlers at Vail continuously succeeds at providing guests with everything they need.

Tempted to stay beyond the package’s included two nights? Guests receive a 30-percent discount for additional nights.
