The Annual Vail King of the Mountain Open is one of the top five iconic grassroots beach doubles Events in North America, drawing upwards of 700 teams of competitors from all over the Rocky Mountain Region and elsewhere.  Held over Father’s Day Weekend, the “King of the Mountain Open” has become a fantastic family volleyball outing with competitions for Juniors, Adults, Co-Ed, Masters/Seniors and, even, special Father/Son and Father/Daughter divisions to help celebrate Father’s Day.

The Men’s and Women’s Open competition is a semi-pro event with prize money involved as well as the always exciting prizes that are offered by our Sponsors and local merchants.  And, the recreational Adult and Co-Ed divisions get pretty “heated” as players from all over the Rocky Mountain Region come to Vail for the first “major” Tourney of the Colorado Outdoor Volleyball Season.

One of the oldest, continuous running outdoor volleyball events in the United States, the 44th Annual Vail King of the Mountain Open is one of the most exciting Tournaments in Colorado.  Bring a great attitude and “get your game on”.  We hope to see you this Father’s Day Weekend.
